Dr. Gehlke earned her Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine

University. Additionally, Dr. Gehlke has a Masters in Education From Alliant International University as well as a pupil personnel services credential. She has taught at the Doctorate and Master’s level in Clinical Psychology and

Marital and Therapy programs. Prior to beginning her employment with Perris

Union High School District in 2014, Dr. Gehlke served as the Regional

Program Director, overseeing 3 clinics at Western Youth Services in Orange County. Dr. Gehlke historically served the Orange County Medi-Cal population for 13 years, as well as maintaining a private practice in Newport Beach. In July 2008, Dr. Gehlke began her employment with the San

Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health. Dr. Gehlke held the Clinical Supervisor position with Community Crisis Services, where she launched and implemented the Crisis Walk‐In Clinic in Rialto, CA. Rebecca has also held the position of Program Manager for the Quality Management Department, and subsequently served as the Program Manager for Adult Forensics Services, AB 109 Program. For the past 20 years, Dr. Gehlke has worked with serious, persistent mentally ill adults and children in outpatient, educational and crisis settings. Dr. Gehlke currently holds the position of Coordinator of Mental Health Services, overseeing mental health services provided in the Hemet Union School District. Dr. Gehlke continues to strive for ways to improve the lives of persons with mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
